There are many i7 CPUs spread across 3 sockets that are currently available. How often do you 3D render and how large are the models? Because generally it's GPU intensive. A 4770k should suffice if you work with 3D very often, but your money should be put towards the GPU, not the CPU so much.

i'am from philippines. so i'm just canvassing some build for my likings.

i just want an ordinary pc that can be good both in gaming and 3d rendering. just 1 monitor would be good

can you help me! budget is about US$1,000 lower.. tnx

so can you help me? they said i7 is good in 3d rendering. so i just thought it will be good if i use core i7..

microcenter is a store in the US and yes I suggested a i5-4670K for your budget as other wise to get the 4770K your going to have to cheap out elsewhere.

A good 500W psu is all that is required to power this build.

 

Look for an IPS or PLS panel monitor. They have better viewing angles and color reproduction.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Based on US pricing the R9 270X or GTX 760.
