Is wireless HDMI worthless for gaming?

My computer is in an office next to my kitchen because I have no room for my desk in my bedroom. However, when I want to play games sometimes I would rather play something in my bed rather than sitting in my chair. Normally I could just get an extra long HDMI cable and route it around the house into my bedroom. Unfortunately, the way the rooms are laid out it would require at least 50 feet of cable to wrap around my office, down the hall, and into my bedroom. I also can't drill a hole in the wall because the Mrs doesn't want to damage anything and I can't use steamlink or an Nvidia Shield because my internet speed is only 10mbps. So, would it be feasible to use a wireless HDMI device to stream my computer to a monitor in my bedroom for gaming purposes?

Steam Link/Parsec etc. doesn't need fast internet, only local speeds (assuming you're streaming from a PC on the same local network). If you have ethernet in both places or even passable WiFi you might want to try Parsec or Steam In-Home Streaming. Long Ethernet cables are dirt cheap compared to active HDMI cables as well. I've used Parsec over WiFi and Cellular and it's pretty damn great.

why no dark mode?

The reason I was looking into HDMI is because I don't have a laptop anymore. Even when I did have one I tried using steam link with it only to be shown 144p quality streaming and sub 10fps. Also, I neglected to mention there are 2 other people in my house also using the WiFi.
