Most of the parts are from my old build. The gpu I got for almost $400 CAD used. I have been using the gpu for about 7 months now and it seems to be working fine. This build will be used mainly for gaming and some light video editing from time to time. Are there any suggestions for my build and is there anything to upgrade the gpu too like to something better. My budget is around $1500 CAD. I will most likely be reusing the storage, power supply (even tho it is overkill), case and maybe the gpu

any help is appreciated

Keep the 10080ti (it's still great), the PSU, and the HDD/SSd. Get a nice case (1500 cad is a lot to spend on a few components, but I'll still be telling you to dish out quite a bit for it, either for the aesthetic, or performance) So like the pc-o11 D is nice if you don't mind dishing out a bit, along with 3 case fans (or 6 if youre feeling overkill) 3700x is fine, you could totally go 3900x/3950x if you felt like it. Get a better cpu cooler, like a noctua dh-15, and maybe some nicer ram (8x4 cl 16 3600mhz trrident z neo). All in all that's like what? $850? You could also just do what you put there, besides adding a new case, and save up for the 3080ti

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

Is it worth going for the 3900x? I game a lot and just some light editing. I will be upgrading the case most likely and thanks for the suggestion. The only issue that I have with the DH-15 is that it is so huge and that the installation process might be really difficult to do.  Also what is a good motherboard I was looking and the b450m motherboard and I am also not sure as of what board to go with.

Well if you have only spent $561.12 and still have almost a thousand I would probably consider adding better and more memory like 4x8 DDR4 3600 with the lowest CAS you can find and afford.

Alright thanks do you have any suggestions? As of what kind of ram to go with

Just save your money, there’s no point in getting 32gb ram if you only need 16gb.

What ram do you think I should go with?

Either this or the one in your original post.

Well like Shrekpad said you do not need 16 GB as that is what I am running  but personally I would have done 32GB if I had the budget for it as your other components are pretty solid.

As for me for my Ryzen 3900x I chose this

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PQVG3C/gskill-trident-z-neo-16-gb-2-x-8-gb-ddr4-3600-memory-f4-3600c16d-16gtzn

They are out of stock atm but its good solid RAM with a good CAS.
