So I read other post about this problem but none of them seems to be the same as mine, and I haven't found any real solutions.

I bought my Asus Rog-Strix RTX 2060 Super OC on April 1st, and I got everything to work and didn't experience any problems until a few days ago when the fan (closest to the hdmi sticks) started to make a grinding kinda of noise.

The GPU fan starts and stops spinning and everytime it starts, it makes that noise in the video.

Also the GPU RPM switches from 0 to 900 rapidly if that helps identifying anything.
It makes the noise mostly when my GPU speed percentage goes between 2% to 10% when I do desk work, but sometimes, it just makes the noise even when nothing is being used.

The only "solution" to make the noise disappear, is if I set the fans speed percentage to 20% at all times.

In idle situations the fans should actually be completely off. What Temps do you have in idle?

The problem I think is there are two orientations for GPUs.  On a test bench the gpu sits up and down so the fan sits sideways, but in most PCs the fans point down.  This is a big difference for fans because when a gpu sits up and down the fan rides on the side of the spindle, but when the gpu points down the fan rides on the “top” of the spindle.  Gpu fans need to be designed to do both and I’m not sure they are.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
