First PC build

Hi everyone! 

 

I am looking to build a PC. Right now, I have a dell optiplex 780 with dual monitors (I will be keeping the monitors, which have Display Port, VGA, and DVI connectors).

Right now, my computer doesn't game very well, as its pretty old, but if this build can support it, I would like start gaming a little bit. 

 

I am a computer science student, so I need this computer to be able to support my classes, projects and any/all software I may download. 

My budget is sort of tight, so I'm only looking to spend around $300-$400 on this build. 

 

I welcome different choices so i have options as well! I am located in the US.

If anyone can provide recommendations or suggestions that would be great!

But I would probably strictly look at buying a used system.

Would go for savageNeo pc if you can spring the extra if not would highly recommended looking in to a second hand pc and/or parts

Some new and some used even. Depends where you're located and what's available
