First pc build ever looking to switch from console. Around $1000 to spend usd. Planning to play games such as cod, Skyrim, warzone, modded Minecraft, gta, and a few others. Would like to be at least 1080p 144hz with decent framerates at least 60fps nothing too spectacular. Wont lie I did buy laptop out of impulse but am thinking about returning it to go this route instead. Would appreciate some thoughts. laptop I bought is this for $900 MSI Creator 15M A9SD-044 15.6" 120Hz FHD Creator Laptop Intel Core i5-9300H GTX1660Ti 8GB 256GB NVMe SSD Win10

Appreciate the replys that's good to hear. It'll be here Friday and I can't wait to try it out. It'll be my first pc that costs more than a couple hundred so it'll be nice to have something that can that can actually run a game other than RuneScape. Was a little worried about the performance of it being that it is a laptop and not a desktop, but I like the portability of it. Also any suggestions for a 16gb ram? Thanks
