Deciding between GPUs

Trying to decide between a 5700XT and a 2070 Super

 

Pros for both cards:

5700XT is cheaper for only slightly less performance, and has better aesthetics imo

2070 Super is a more powerful card, supports ray tracing, and has a VR specific USB-C port on it.

 

Cons for both cards: 

5700XT is less powerful, doesn't support ray tracing, and has had driver issues in the past

2070 Super is $150 more expensive

 

I just don't know if the $150 difference is worth what the 2070S has to offer. I've also been told I should wait until the RDNA2 (Big Navi) drop to see if old cards go down in price, or if a new release might be a better value. Any advice? Thanks

If the extra $150 is going to be a issue just get the 5700xt. Tho if ur pc is fine as is now and you really do not need to upgrade the gpu you can wait and see.

Save the money and get the XT.

You also get 2 full games free. Resident Evil 3 & Monster Hunter World to redeem on Steam.

 

I was in the same boat as you 5 weeks ago and the 5700-XT was the better choice for me.
