streaming using pc and laptop

hi so im wondering can i use my laptop to do all the streaming 

so my desktop can game without any problems

 

my laptop has a i5 10210u and a mx250 so i know it can stream alright

 

just wondering how can i use it to stream?

You would need software that supports recording your screen for streaming.I don't know what you could use but you can easily google it.

You'd have to actually send the footage to the laptop so you need a capture card in it, but since it's a laptop, you'd have to get an external one, like a elgato HD60. 

 

-> just use your main rig to do all the work with software like Nvidia Shadowplay and use your GPU to encode.

You can get a flavor of OBS with NDI Tek rolled in, and that allows you to send the output of OBS on one PC to the input of OBS on another PC over network. An external capture card also works, and runs over USB. But yeah, the NVENC option (either with OBS or ShadowPlay) would be little to no impact on your gameplay. If your desktop has a nVidia GPU, that is.
