I currently have a Wraith Max cooling my R5 3600, I've been using it for almost a year and have had no problems with it. However, I'm a bit disappointed by the RGB. It's just these two solid rings around the outside of the fan radius that change color in a specified order. I've been looking at builds online and saw someone using a Wraith Prism, which had RGB that I always kinda wanted in my build. To be honest, this whole time I thought the prism and max were the same cooler and I just couldn't use all of the RGB because I don't have RGB headers on my board, only the USB2 one that can be used. So, once I realized that it's a totally different cooler with better RGB, I sorta started wanting one.

Is it worth it to switch coolers just for the RGB? Does the Prism perform roughly the same as the Max? I'd like some input. Thanks.

The Wraith Prism might be slightly better but they're pretty similar. https://segmentnext.com/2018/05/07/amd-wraith-prism-max/

If you're satisfied with the current performance but want the look of the Wraith Prism, it's not a bad option. If you're just aiming for rgb, there may be better alternatives available.
