I am planning to build a pc over the summer using some of the profits from my summer job (assuming it still happens lol) I want to spend around 800USD, but could go a little over.

I have a monitor and other peripherals, and I'll don't need Windows built into the cost. My monitor is a pretty crappy 1080p one which i'll eventually upgrade, but not with this build)

I do some blender work, some fusion360 stuff, and some gaming, but not a ton of gaming. (currently i have CS:GO and GTA as well as some indie stuff, will probably get more if i get the computer.)

It seems like 16 GB of RAM is good for blender, so I'd like to go with at least that unless someone else knows better.

I'd like at least some solid state storage for booting and programs, but I don't necessarily need it all to be SSD. Also, I'm fine with skimping on storage for now, as that is a pretty easy upgrade path.

I need a wifi adapter or a mobo that supports it, as my room doesn't have ethernet ;(

I really like the NZXT cases, so unless there is a good reason not to use one, I would really like to use one, even at a price premium. Also, my case height limit is 20 inches (500mm) because it would slot into my desk real nice at that height.

My motherboard doesn't need any weird ports, all that i really ever use is USB.

Color scheme wise, I don't really like RGB, so don't bother spending for that, I would like a white case and an all black interior ideally.

I created a pcpartpicker system, which I think maches what i want, but there's a couple of areas i'm not sure on. (GPU? Memory Speed? Storage Setup?)

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/FireStrongPC/saved/#view=MG8y4D

CPU: AMD 3600X

GPU: Nvidia 3070 (planned)

motherboard: MSI B500-A PRO

memory: G Skill Ripjaws V 2x8 GB 3600Mhz CL16

PSU: EVGA B3 650@

Case: NZXT H510

wireless network adapter: intel ax200

Okay. First of all memory: CL 16, 3600mhz. Storage: A p1 is fine on a budget, if you need more storage theres always hard drives. Since it seems that youre gaming I recommend getting a different b450 mobo (better rated/reviewed, look online and in the forums for help lol) and sticking a 2600 in it, and using the extra money to buy a 2060KO ($300). Finally, get a Phanteks p300a, it is a great ATX case with amazing airflow and can be found on amazon regularily on sale for $60-$70. If you can afford it, it would be nice to get 3 extra case fans up in the front, as it only ships with 1 (to my current knowledge)

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

If you’re wanting to use this monitor it’s inputs may be important.  What ports does it have in back?  You may also be looking at an adaptor for it.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

It has HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, and DVI-D, so I think I'll be fine

as far as i can tell, that will run me around $850-875, is there a way to drop that?

That is a little over, but if you are willing to sac frames then get a 1660S, if you did include the case fans in the final price, just get rid of those.

The 2060ko stomps kinda hard for blender because of the lobotomization of the 104 chip doesn’t seem to apply to blender so keeping it if possible would be nice.  A 2600 is 6/12.  The 1600af is almost as fast as a 2600 but cheaper. It has some limitations.  Possibly in memory speed.  What would changing from a 2600 to a 1600af and 3200mhz memory do to the budget?  Enough?  A 1700 with slower 8/16 might also be an option.  I’m not checking prices here so it might not be doable.
