Stream Labs OBS Stutter on stream

Was reading some other posts with stuttering issues and apparently an overloaded GPU can cause Stuttering even though you're using the CPU for encoding. Maybe try limiting the graphic settings on the games you're having problems with? Also there should be log files for SLOBS located in '%appdata%\slobs-client\node-obs\logs'

omg,  i think i figured out the issue....   MSI Dragon center was set to silent mode and was limiting CPU to 2.8Ghz   I set to performance it bumped up to 4.2 and now stream is fine

Hey there, So Im trying to stream on mixer and some times it works.. some times its stutter.  I've tried stream labs OBS and just OBS studio.  in both it says stream is good, only 20% usage no dropped frames. but my stream its laggy and choppy. My game play is smooth and no issues apparent on my side, but stream is just choppy.  This also only appears to happen with FPS games (Apex, Overwatch and Warzone) if I try and play a different game (pokemon TCGO, Astroneer and Sea Of Thieves) I get no issues.    Any help would be great. (ive uninstalled and reinstalled both programs and every reinstalled windows.

Also, Gaming in 1080p and streaming in 720p 60

If you put those exact settings in for local recording does it still happen? Like @WambleCropped said it might just be the service. When I had my stuttering issues it was my internet crapping out on me for upload speeds.

Ok so it is likely your setting then. Maybe try CPU usage to the next fastest. I would try it with local recordings and see if your playback is smooth and a good enough quality.

Edit: CPU usage is backwards so UltraFast is lower CPU usage than Fast

Ok one other thing I can think of is if you're using WIndows 10 try turning off "Game Mode" it should be on by default and gives priority to games when possible.

Basically just hit windows key and search game mode. Short of that I can't really think of anything else.
