G'day, How the bloody hell are ya, nice to cracka tinny once in a while but found bourbon is the drink of choice for my Aussie BBQ's.

South Australian here, Adelaide <- a place that moves slower than the sands of time...

^ To Melbourne from Adelaide,..Not the best, Usually sync at ADSL2+ 23987kb/s, only because of my new house copper,..

However good or bad you see it its the Best that most of us can get at this point in time without fibre anywhere...

Have been a linus fan for about a year, have caught a few live shows as well, I think their one of my weekly highlights for sure, great comedy/tech duo.

Mrstoolboy or skilledrebuilds is the name I use around the interwebs (tube/faceplant/twitts)

Slang hardly ever used together in Australia - "G'day Mate"

Slang used a lot in history past but no so much now... "G'day"

Slang often used in any given moment after any word - "Mate"

Git a bloody dog up ya, mate

Don't drink and drive you idiot, Gimme the wheel, You drink & do the pedals, Ill drive the wheel,.. my arm into your ribs if you F it up,..You bastard. You spilled me beer mate!!!..,..hey mate suss the shiela 3'oclock.

Screeching Tyres to a stop...Phwoar, .........mate.......I'd stab her...

We need the NBN, at home we're on the highest consumer level internet available, with 2 down and .3 up

This is the Fibre my work has, as a school. and it still takes ages to buffer on youtube at 360p dem ping and data loss.

Funnily enough, the locals think Kakadu is a shit hole and Darwin is a clusterfuck.

but hey, most of the NT is small towns, set in the outback with either desert surrounds or monsoonal waterlands. Personally i'm in Katherine, so I live in mini Kakadu :P

I'd like the locals to come here to the UK, some of the cities *cough Manchester* are complete crap holes with some areas that need catagorising as 3rd world.

Also drove through Katherine with our old 1979 or 80 VB Commodore 3.3 SL/E (poor thing we did 40,000km with her), looks like a nice enough town but would love to get back there and explore more.

Gangs? oh you mean the herds of pub-pubescent boys at the shopping center? yeah they used to be a problem up in Darwin, not so much anymore, natural selection i think took place.

prices are crazy but, i'm on 1200 a fortnight and can barely afford rental costs in Katherine, and Katherine is cheaper than Darwin.

One thing i dont enjoy about Victoria is the bad weather after living in Southern California for 10+ years its hard to get used too. Oh and the expensive hardware, Im Australian born but would much prefer to live in Sunny Southern California!
