stock cooler thermal paste?

Hi

I'm planning to get a Ryzen 5 3600 and I'm gonna use the stock cooler , I have some arctic thermal paste laying around that I could use instead of the stock thermal paste, should I do it? does it make thermals better or the difference is negligible?

Maybe a 1-2c difference if at all so not worth the effort. Also highly depends on what arctic thermal paste you have but in general stock paste is more than fine.

I have the mx-4 arctic thermal paste I bought it and never used it. I guess it might be not worth the hassle, I thought it would have a big difference.
