1070Ti upgrade

Hello everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a 1070Ti.

My specs are: 1070Ti, i5-8400, 16GB RAM.

 

I was looking at a used 1080Ti or a new 2070 Super.

 

What should I do?

I had upgraded from my 1070ti to the 2070 super.

on a i7 7700k & 16gb ram

 

It was a good move for me, the 2070 super is a spot on card and i run my games on 1440p max.

 

You could look at the 5700XT which is a good card

You should probably wait for the rtx3000 series as the jump from a 1070ti to either is not too much.

I just took a look and, where I live, 5700XT is around $110 cheaper than the 2070S counterpart.

Thats not too bad, Nvidia are going to reease new casrds this year so might be worth just holding off as it might reduce the cost of the current cards and/or have a decent card within your budget
