im wondering what to get as the h60 cost more loud and is water (it might leak) but the 212 evo is cheaper but not as good?

The difference is probably very slight.

Id go with the 212. Watercooling isnt worth it at this level. Everything over H80 is good but under that, meh.

Stick to the 212 evo for now. If you want a better cooler, look at the Xigmatek Dark Night... something something. Also, look at the NH-D14.

 

Did you just bump your post because no one replied within 9 min.? That seems a bit impatient.

The NH-D14 is a really good and solid cooler. You can check out my installation of it if interested.

 

If you don't like the colour scheme of the Noctua you could try take a look at the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3.

I would only really go for these high-end air coolers if you're going to overclock your CPU.

With the NH-D14 I think he could pull 4.5-4.7 if he got a good chip.
