Building a VR capable PC

I'm new to building pcs but I know some basics, I started out a project of making a VR capable PC.

And wanted to show what I'm looking at so far, it's not perfect, and I had a friend help me with the design, I only have the Motherboard so far, I'm saving for the other parts, I plan to upgrade as I go along.

What does everyone think?

(I'm open to opinions! I'm mainly sticking with Ryzen 7, again bare with me cause I'm still new and have some small learning difficulties 😅

Budget: about £1500ish, I'm working as I go along. And saving for more expensive parts if I can.

Also non of whats on the list is final, just a small mock up, like the fans and case. I plan to switch them out possibly.

@Shrekpad build is much better. This will perform well both with VR and non VR games.

R5 3600 is flatout better than 2700X in games.

Nvidia support to game developers including VR development is much wider and RTX 2070 super is a much better card.

That's a terrible way to build :/ New parts come out, prices change, and warranty/store returns start from the date of purchase. And all the parts will be sitting useless until you have acquired almost all of the parts. I recommend saving until you have the full budget, and getting recommendations then, close to when you will purchase the parts. The motherboard is among the worst on B450, so consider returning it, especially if you plan on ever upgrading to the 8-16 core CPUs.

The build suggested by Shrekpad will perform far better.

A tip: Ryzen LOVES fast RAM (Shrekpad chose '3600 speed' while you had chosen '3200 speed') and it makes a significant difference!

Apparently looking at the motherboard that's suggested, it can only support up to 3466..? And not 3600..? Will it still work??

Hey, random question, would it be worth it to save up and go for the Ryzen 3600x rather then the Ryzen 3600? Cause its a £30 difference on on amazon.

the 3600 is the same thing with a slightly lower clock speed, just overclock on your own and use the money somewhere else.
