It also depends on the board, some can still control the fan, even if the board only has 3 pin header.

For the RGB itself, the will need to be plugged into an RGB header.

So for fan control everything is good and I have it working. It just rgb, 4 pin rgb lead off the fan and a 3 pin addressable header. Will that work?

Looking at the manual for the Ml120L AIO, it needs a 4 pin header for the RGB. Your AIO does come with a RGB controller.

I haven't heard of 3 pin RGB header, most is 4 pins or 5 pins. What board do you have?
