Hello guys,

I started seeking for a new gpu  for my computer. I have i5 8600k (stock but I tried to oc it and it goes 5.1 easly) and 1050ti (yeks). I am looking for a card within +/- 300$ cuz 1050ti botleneck my cpu. I heard that going for 1070ti/1080 is a bad idea so I am asking, which gpu should I buy? Second hand ofc

Ty

The 1070 ti and 1080 are still solid GPUs.

If you are against those, then you can find an RTX 2060 or a 5700 (non XT) on ebay for around those prices right now.

Personally, I would suggest you go new at that price point (or go for a 1070 ti) since the used market is inflated right now.

New at that price Point:

RTX 2060

GTX 1660 Ti

RX 5600 XT

RX 5700 (non XT)

F@H    EOC

Folding Rigs

Toaster Oven: RTX 3070 Ti & R5 7700X

Meth-Uselah: RTX 2070S & R5 3600X

Pecan't Pi: Raspberry Pi 5

ZZ Laptop: Asus ROG Zephyrus G15

1070ti/1080 arent bad options if you can get them within the $220-240 mark (less is better of course), in the used market 1080ti are bloated up in price due to RTX hate train so the 1070ti/1080 are the best used cards with good deals. For new cards you'll be looking at the 5600XT as $300 is just not enough for RTX 2060 or RX 5700 (only counting decently cooled models), and the 5600XT is not all that much better than a 1070ti/1080 anyway
