Should I charge my MacBook while using?
Short Answer: It really doesn't matter, use the laptop however best fits your life
Long Answer: There are many different schools of thought and lots of misconceptions and misinformation regarding battery health and best practices. It's a very deep rabbit hole if you start reading up on it. For modern lithium batteries one common metric for battery health is the cycle count, that is the number of times the battery has been discharged and then recharged. If you want to extend the life of your battery, avoid needing to charge it. Thus you would be better off leaving your laptop plugged in as much as possible. When plugged in and the battery reaches full capacity it stops charging and the laptop uses the power directly from the charger. In that situation the battery isn't even active.
