overkill for minecraft?

So i want to get a pc to play heavily modded minecraft but im not sure if i need an rtx 2060 becuz minecraft is a cpu intensive game. so should i get a worse graphics card and put more money into upgrading my cpu from ryzen 5 2600x into something like ryzen 7?

Minecraft doesnt use multiple cores very well (especially after 4), so Zen 2 based Ryzen 5 will be more appropriate as upgrade. Do you plan on running heavy shaders if not the raytracing shader mod thoug?

i dont really care too much about graphics and am not using shaders

If you're going to upgrade a 2600X is perfectly fine so a GPU upgrade and a 144hz monitor perhaps

im just here smiling with my R3 1200 and RX580 in 70-160Fps with 64chunks no shaders. But when i respawn i will have to wait for like a solid 4 seconds for everytthing to render again which is kinda annoying but its fine i geuss.
