I Need a New Case

ShrUg

So I bought a prebuilt PC (wrong decision) due to a hustle that I had. The PC that I bought is a HP Pavilion 690 0010. The specs are mentioned in the link below.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05950974/

What I’m looking for is if I can fit the current hardware that is inside my PC to another case, preferably a Corsair case. Can someone help me out?

Thanks

What is your budget? Also, Pre-built hardware is non-standard. it will be a magnificent pain to get that to work in a standard computer.

yes but no at the same time, you technically can but you don't have an i/o shield.

I would suggest an NZXT H510

Main PC [The Rig of Theseus]:

CPU: i5-8600K @ 5.0 GHz | GPU: GTX 1660 | RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz | Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic | PSU: Corsair RM 650i | SSD: Corsair MP510 480 GB |  HDD: 2x 6 TB WD Red| Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro | OS: Windows 11 Pro for Workstations

Secondary PC [Why did I bother]:

CPU: AMD Athlon 3000G | GPU: Vega 3 iGPU | RAM: 8 GB DDR4 3000 MHz | Case: Corsair 88R | PSU: Corsair VS 650 | SSD: WD Green M.2 SATA 120 GB | Motherboard: MSI A320M-A PRO MAX | OS: Windows 11 Pro for Workstations

Server [Solution in search of a problem]:

Model: HP DL360e Gen8 | CPU: 1x Xeon E5-2430L v1 | RAM: 12 GB DDR3 1066 MHz | SSD: Kingston A400 120 GB | OS: VMware ESXi 7

Server 2 electric boogaloo [A waste of electricity]:

Model: intel NUC NUC5CPYH | CPU: Celeron N3050 | RAM: 2GB DDR3L 1600 MHz | SSD: Kingston UV400 120 GB | OS: Debian Bullseye

Laptop:

Model: ThinkBook 14 Gen 2 AMD | CPU: Ryzen 7 4700U | RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz | OS: Windows 11 Pro

Photography:

Cameras:

Full Frame digital: Sony α7

APS-C digital: Sony α100

Medium Format Film: Kodak Junior SIX-20

35mm Film:

Lenses:

Sony SAL-1870 18-70mm ƒ/3.5-5.6

Sony SAL-75300 75-300mm ƒ/4.5-5.6

Meike MK-50mm ƒ/1.7

PSA: No, I didn't waste all that money on computers, (except the main one) my server cost $40, the intel NUC was my old PC (although then it had 8GB of ram, I gave the bigger stick of ram to a person who really needed it), my laptop is used and the second PC is really cheap.

I like tinkering with computers and have a personal hatred towards phones and everything they represent (I daily drive an iPhone 7, or a 6, depends on which one works that day)

Budget is infinite when it comes to the case. Besides, I am also going to put a RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 7 to it. So, can you also look for a case that can fit those components, please? Thanks.

At 500000$ and up: https://www.luxuo.com/lifestyle/gadgets/pc-cases-platinum-gold-diamonds.html

Or, go cheap and have a look at thermaltake level 20 case (onyl about 1000$, so not a popular option for those wiith infinite budgets).

Boy, do you really have to do a check mate on me like that?

Second, I’m only looking for a case. So, a platinum prebuilt PC would not be fitting, nor would the gold edition.

And third, I put a label on Corsair so people would know what type of brand I would prefer, so a Thermaltake would not be adequate.

Still, thanks for taking your time on reading and responding to my question.

Cheers.

It was meant in good spirits and purely as humor; my apologies if it wasnt obvious :)

A new case is something to look out to, gives the system a fresh look, hope you enjoy it once you have one :)

I have a old system, but last year upgraded to a nicer case; totally worth it; even if its just looks, can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Sorry for no input on a case, its something very personal and subjective so mostly if the topic isnt about a case ive actually build in i find it hard to recommend not knowing someones "taste".

Again, sorry if my post seemed "off", english isnt my 1st language and unfurtunately i dont always get the "tonality" correct.

Do you guys think I could fit all of the components into a Corsair Crystal 280x case?

The specs are the following:

Motherboard- Sunflower

Processor- Ryzen 7 2700

RAM- 32 gb

GPU- Nvidia RTX 2060

Power Supply- 310 W SFF (Gold) Full range 115V/230V

Any recommendations can be written down below. Recommendations according to compatibility, not upgrades.
Thanks.

All fine man. No problem. I got the joke, so let all your worries aside.

Oh, and I get the thing about "English isn’t my first language," for my first language is Spanish.

Thanks again for taking your time on my problem.

On second thought, a new PSU recommendation would be acceptable.
