Dev Error 5624 And Many Others In Modern Warfare 2019

For over 8 months now, Modern Warfare 2019 has been unplayable for me, sometimes i'll get lucky and it'll run for a few hours or even an entire day.

The issue here is the fact that the game does not run without crashing with a "Dev Error", I used to be getting 6068 all the time but now it seems to have shifted to 5624 and 5761.

I've tried basically every troubleshooting step such as:

- Reinstalling drivers

- Installing older drivers from around when the game was released and even before that

- Completely reinstaling Windows twice

- Changing CPU priority from high to normal in task manager

- Running the game with "-d3d11" in additional command line arguments

- Enabling and disabling XMP in my BIOS

- Resetting BIOS to defaults like 15 times

- Contacting support, who have only really told me to do the things ive tried

- Reinstalling the game twice (over 200Gb download :/ )

- Reinstalling DirectX from Microsoft's website

- Making sure Windows and my Graphics drivers are up-to-date

I'm pretty sure there's more but I dont wanna fill this post up too much.

Does anyone know if this has got to do with my system or is this just the devs being incapable of fixing their game.

I would greatly appreciate any help at all since this game was $60 (on sale) and I really haven't gotten my moneys worth from it, plus i'm not the only person having this problem and I wanna help others if a solution is found.

Thanks.

My system specs are as follows:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro
Power Supply: Corsair TX550M
Motherboard: AsRock B450M Steel Legend
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB @ 2133 MHz (XMP disabled)
Storage: SanDisk SSD Plus 120 GB (Boot Drive), Seagate Barracuda 2 TB (Mass Storage)
Case: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 3

Do you have RTX enabled? If so try disabling it, that worked for me.

However I only bought the game yesterday so I refunded it today. I shouldn't have to disable a feature of the game to get it to play, especially with a 2080ti.

Yeah I've tried with RTX enabled and disabled, nothing seemed to change

About 2 months ago I found out that the reason my game was crashing was because of one of my RAM sticks, still don't know why but after testing my sticks I found one of them would crash most games, after removing the dodgey stick my CoD ran completely fine albeit with significantly worse performance.

I also have Corsair Vengeance so I guess that's one thing you could try.

I did already test my RAM (I don't know the command right now). How did you test your RAM sticks?

I just bought new RAM 2x 8GB Vengeance RGB Pro (The only one available in my local PC shop). And the first time I was able to play for about 1 hour without any crash or freeze. Thank you, I guess thats it.

But after switching the RAM I had to login to a lot of services again, also my ASUS ThunderboldEX3 card is not working anymore which is a bumer:/

I tested my sticks by trying only one at a time in each slot, using both sticks in slots 1,3 and 2,4, then swapped them around and all that, coming to the conclusion that one of my sticks runs fine and the other causes crashes.

Glad to hear it ran, also that's a real shame that your ASUS card won't work.

Have you been able to run MW consistently with the new RAM?

Yes, MW is running fine. My new TB card will arrive today, I hope it worls:)

Update:

I just successfully installed the Gigabyte Titan Ridge 2.0 Card on my Asus motherboard and everything works, the card even works better then the ASUS ThunderboltEX3 card I had before.
