My mic is bugging

Can someone help me!!!?  Just put together a PC build and I am having mic issues. Every time I plug in my mic the only thing my friends can hear is static, and loud noises. I have a hyper x cloud alpha headset. My case  (which is where I plug my mic in) is an NZXT 510 Elite.

Plug it into the motherboard USB port. Unless you're using the 3.5mm instead. Which what I use.

Test it with another mic to isolate the issue, if it's just the mic then get a new one, if it's the jack plug it in the rear mic port.
