Is the Ryzen 5 2600 a bottleneck?

Is a Ryzen 2600 overclocked a bottleneck, and if so how much, for a GTX 1070ti?

I know there are better CPU's but I want to know specifically for this one.

No a 2600 should be totally fine for a 1070ti. Even in CPU intensive games it should be just fine

Non-overclocked it probably will be fine.

Also, there is no 'how much' for bottlenecks, different apps use different amount of CPU and GPU, some apps are optimised for multiple cores and some are optimised for only one, some rely on high frequency and some don't etc. Too many factors for a definite bottleneck amount, but you are fine. Just make sure your ram is at dual channel and it's above 3000MHz.

Also, please tighten your RAM timings. Idiot proof tutorial here, super easy method to get free performance without trial and error:

I have 2x8gb DDR4-3000mhz cl16 RAM sticks on an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC (only supports up to 3200mhz), thanks for this video. I also want to do 3D modelling on Solidworks and Zbrush for university use.
