graphics card and motherboard don't sync up with same colors using Aura

Okay I previously had Aura v 1.0.67.60and rgb worked on motherboard but didn't sync with ROG Strix Gaming 1660 Ti OC.
So I installed most recent version 1.0.7 and after reboot it fucked up my Windows I needed to reformat, besides only graphics card was getting RGB over new Aura, motherboard was dead, even after linking with that "chain icon" in this stupid sofware.
What is the problem, how do I sync MoBo and graphics card with same color?
My MoBo is Maximus VIII Formula.

Now I'm back at old version of Aura,

I don't even want to ask stupid Asus live support, they would ask what is the wattage of my PSU,loool!!!

I'm uploading video so you can see the issue.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

I have the same motherboard. The maximus VIII was (one of) the first rgb motherboard on the market and since it was first gen, it didn't have the "aura sync" feature like motherboards have these days. Afaik the only z170 motherboard that had the sync feature (because it was released much later) was the z170 pro gaming aura. After that basically all z270 (2nd gen rgb products) came with "aura sync" instead of "aura rgb". So your motherboard only has the basic aura rgb and not the aura sync (check the symbol on the product page). You can somewhat sync certain products only if it's directly plugged into the mobo's 12v rgb header, but you can't sync your gpu and mobo. You'll have to use 2 different versions of aura, downloaded from the products own support page and set them manually.

Correct, this was the first MoBo with RGB and backplate :D

This sucks I didn't even know there is Aura RGB,I thought Aura Sync will work on my MoBo... Such a shame.what a stupidity.
