Vram limit

your pc will start using ram with the vram.

 

some games may crash but most of them wont.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

The vram will be compressed first, then it will start using your RAM, then it will compress your RAM if it's out, then last it will use your hard drive as memory. After that you're screwed (but you probably need a new hard drive at this point anyway).

You see a massive reduction in performance, and dropped frames/stutters/freezes when loading certain areas.

Please be more specific? VRAM and RAM are different things. Filling VRAM means that you start seeing stuttering and graphical glitches since GPU can't load more stuff there.
