Great build! Only things I have to say are that you can get faster ram for cheaper if you give up rgb (it’s really your choice). And you can get a Gigabyte Windforce OC 2070 super for less.

Thanks! What's your suggestion on the ram? I do want RGB but I can manage without it. And in regards to the OC super, do you have a link for a cheaper one? I'm down for saving money. This is my first hand built. Currently using a 6 year old Alienware x51 R2, which works but its slowly dying

The Gigabyte Windforce is a bit cheaper. You could also go with a 5700XT to save a bit more money.

The WD SN550 is the same price and has a longer warranty.

You will be fine with a 650W psu. The RMx is better.

Your build is really very good.  People are going to split hairs about saving money for less performance but the 2070 Super is a great card for both 1080p and 1440p gaming.

Not sure what about your machine is slowly dying, I think you mean to say that as games and software evolve... the current PC gets slower relatively than it used to be.

Thank you, you're not wrong, as games evolve the system I have is a little dated. I'm glad to know the 2070 super is a good card. I've always been an intel boy but everyone is telling me for streaming/gaming that the 3700x is gonna be great.

Just looked at the 5700XT, hearing with it's updates it's rivaled the 2070 super. Should I stick with Nvidia or grab the 5700XT?

Rivals?  It's about 15% slower, so that's what I meant about saving money for less performance.

If you're just doing 1080p, go with the 5700XT then.  If you are doing 1440p, I'd spring for the 2070 Super.

I don't feel the need for 1440p, not to mention im being cheap and using the current monitors I have which are 1080P. Plus I want to be doing some streaming in 1080p as well. would the XT still be fine for that?

Yeah, the 5700XT is about the best 1080p deal going right now.  If I was doing 1080p I'd go that route.

Yes the 5700XT would be fine. The 3700X is a capable for streaming if not using an Nvidia gpu and nvenc. I think AMD have an alternative for gpu encoding but not sure how good/bad it is.

A 5700XT does save around $90 though.
