While playing a game my ram usage was 10gb which is not normal, it grows gradually

Normally it should be around 5-7gb used but suddenly it jumps to 10-11, and after few mins it drops down INSTANTLY to 5 and it all goes again..... why is that?

Game has memory leaks likely - typical of modern broken releases
