How should I clean my GPU?

YuppityYap

My gpu has been going at it for 3 years and it's about time it needs a clean up. I've looked up multiple tutorials on youtube and they all seem to involve taking apart the card. Do I have to do that? Or should I just go and do the traditional hit it with some compressed air and be done

For the best clean take apart the card and use compressed air inbetween the heat sink so dust and dirt can escape

You don't need to take apart the card.

Blow some air though it and it's fine.

someone mentioned to not use "high psi air" and I am using this little dinky duster I picked up for about $3.

Nope it isn't.
To be honest those cans are kinda wimpy, even for cleaning computer components. But they're a good start. You can't damage anything and they'll most likely get the job done.
