are ddc pumps and d5 pumps interchangeable because I wanna to buy the lian li 011 distro plate and that comes with a ddc pump which I heard is more prone to failure so I wan't to swap it for a d5 pump.

After 8 hours of customizing his loop baby yoda figures out that he messed up and slowly dies

unless you or someone with lots of water cooling experience would recomend using a ddc pump over a d5 pump

I had both of them, ddc died so I went d5. Difference between them? Yup you can notice the difference, ddc was a bit louder at 100% and d5 I can’t hear at all when running full speed. If you can spend a bit more just get d5 , you not gonna regret

Also looks like i'll have to switch out the distro plate for a normal resevoir. When I saw the singularity pc wraith case and it had a d5 pump on the distro plate I thought all the distro plates either had a d5 pump or could be changed to one and look how that turned out.
