Hello everybody, I've just signed in on the forum and I have a question :

I have owned a brand new ZOTAC SONIX PCIe SSD 480 Gb (PCIe Gen 3 X4) and I would like to plug it on my soon to be motherboard ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3.

So I have been looking for an adapter/riser (NVMe M.2 PCIe male to PCI Express Gen 3X4 female) without success.

Does it exist ? Is it possible ?

I know I could buy a much faster SSD NVMe M.2 but I don't want to.

And the riser would need to be quite long, to circle back the motherboard...

Yours sincerely,

Why do you even want to connect it to the m.2 slot? It's gonna be happy to be in a PCIe slot where it belongs.

Ah, ITX.

Well if you need something long there are some but they're typically PCIe x1.

Otherwise you need one that has the PCIe slot right on the m.2 card, and a x4 PCIe riser... But that's basically more expensive than a new m.2 SSD.

Maybe the opposite with an m.2 riser/extender (m.2 on both sides) and an m.2 to PCIe in the remote end, but hard to find long ones...
