What do you want your PC to do?  What does your current rig NOT do that you need it to?

 

What's your budget?  What games, resolution, etc. do you want to play?  Do you render video?  Do you eat steak rare or medium?

Anyway. Back on topic. There isn't much you can "upgrade". FX platform is dead, so you will need a new platform if you want a modern CPU and RAM. B450 is an obvious choice if you need gaming system.

 

You could use old drives and possibly your PSU.

I want it for gaming really. I would like to play in 1440p at 60fps with little drop in frame rate. 

I like to play ARK but my rig Can't seem to handle it without Crashing all the time.

I don't want to spend loads of cash but will spend what I need to to improve it.

 

I like my steak medium with a drop of peppercorn sauce 😋

1070 or 5700xt minimum for 1440p gaming

I would consider starting from scratch, what power supply do you have?

Should be enough to get 60 fps on 1440p games, assuming you have a good power supply, storage, and case.
