So is a single 760/770 better or 2 650 boosts(2gb) in SLI. Please support your answer w/ charts and stuffs

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). Well in terms of compatibility and power consumption and temperatures in general, a single card would be better.

I would personally choose the 770. Just becuase you have double the processing power (theoretically) does NOT mean double the FPS.

I'd go for the 760 or 770. (770 is even better, obviously.)

long term a 760/70 would be better since to upgrade youd just buy a second 770/760 wich you cant with a sli 650

Pretty much it depends on the games you play. Going SLI with those cards will perform better than a 770 IF the game is well SLI supported.

There are many games where the scaling is awful or where multi GPU configurations are not supported (they are a few, but they exist).

You can sell that GTX 650 Ti Boost for an OK amount of money and get the 770, it's not as mighty as the dual GPU configuration, but you know you are going to max out every game on 1080p without a hassle.

I would say just get a 770 and in the future when the prices of that card go down you could get another one of those cards.

Wanna hang out with me and people like @Theslsamg, @ Ssoele, @BENTHEREN, @Lanoi, @Whiskers, @_ASSASSIN_, @Looney, @WunderWuffle, and @nsyedhasan. Well.... Check out: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/48484-unofficial-linustechtips-teamschnitzel-server-teamspeak/

dual gpu configurations aren't well supported. If you are willing to wait, get the 780, or stick with a single 770.

I dont think this is true. I think SLI is pretty well supported now a days.

@Op I would choose a 770 4gb and SLI in the future when needed. the 650 Ti Boost SLI are good but unless you can get them for pretty cheap, it would be better to get a single 770 (maybe a second later). I use 2x GTX 650 Ti Boosts and my only real complaint is Memory bandwidth. I noticed if I ever go over 1.5GB vram usage I start to lag. I havent had SLI compatibility issues tough. Given the choice to choose my cards again, I would go 770 4GB. The only reason I went 650 TI Boost SLI in the first place was because I got both cards for 250$ and this was back before price drops.
