Hello everyone,

My friend was trying to set his dram speed from 2133 to 3000 in his motherboard settings and after he did this, his computer is stuck in a bootloop! He cant get to bios. He has a ryzen 1400, asrock b450 pro4, and 2 stick of some 3000mhz ram stick from viperz. Any help is appreciated!

clear CMOS by removing the silver coin-style battery for 5 minutes while the computer is off, and then putting it back.

3000Mhz should work, but update the BIOS to the latest version before you try again.

Yeah clear cmos then make sure the bios is up to date to increase compatibility with those modules. If XMP does not work, try it manually by going up in small steps. Also check if the motherboard has a ram compatibility option, if so enable it. Not all modules are compatible with all motherboards at the their rated speed it of the box.
