Won't see much of a difference with a 1600 MHz @ CL9. But if you wan't 1866, be my guest, I wen town that roar only because it was cheap when I got it (around October or November when it cheap)

It shouldn't make a noticeable difference unless you're using an APU or doing heavy content creation work.

I like the first crucial ram it is 59$ at micro center. But in the future will higher frequency ram be needed?

Nope higher frequency in the future won't make too much of a difference, you should be happy with the Crucial memory, they are a great company, and know what they're doing with their products
