Opnion 350W GPU

I wanted to upgrade my GPU to a Geforce GTX 1660 Super. However in my prebuild they use a 350W PSU, and for the 1660 Super I need at least 450W, I can buy a new PSU but it will cost 100 euro's or more. What should I do? Buy a new PSU or should a buy a GPU which works with a 350W PSU? And if I'd go with a 350W GPU, which GPU do you recommend?

I just looked at techpowerup and they say a 350 is fine.

assuming no OC you'd hit around 300W with the card. which on a wall meter would be somewhere around 340-350

What is the thing with OC version then?  Since I've only been really seeing OC versions

the OC just makes it clock a little faster.

I'm talking about CPU not GPU overclocks. the card isn't going to hit the PSU limit you'll be fine.

assuming you have an 8pin yes.

so I'd be more comfortable saying the 6 pin cards will be fine. 8 pin can give them more power which means they could go far above the 120W rated TDP

Maybe I'd just try. I have warranty when I buy it. So I can always try it and if it doesn't give a screen I know it cant work

it will give a screen, its just maybe both under full load may cause a shutdown.

You should take a picture of the PSU and make a new thread in cases and power supplies.

Because in worst case scenario the PSU will fail and destroy one or more parts of your PC.
