Looking for a gaming/ workstation PC build for gaming and school

Hi, I'm a first-year student in architecture, and I'm looking for a PC that can handles game really well while I can use it as an workstation that allows me to do video editing, rendering with many other kinds of software such as Rhino 3D.

What are the recommended computer components?

I have a budget of $3000, (been saving up for years), and are looking forward to have a new computer by the late 2020.

Give me till the end of day and ill get back to you with a build. $3000 USD or CAD? do you want to use all 3000? do you already have peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, monitor, headset etc. like is 3000 for the tower or the whole setup?

Sweet, still though, need to know if you plan on spending all 3000 on just the tower or if you need that 3000 to include peripherals, peripherals can easily cut into your budget real quick so i gotta know cuz otherwise youll be left with a sweet tower, but nothing to use it with.

If you have the time I would with 4-6 months, AMD will be releasing new CPUs,  and NVIDIA is releasing the 3000s. No point in building a pc that in 6 months is considered a bad value.
