Hi,

This is my first time posting to this board and I am far from an expert on troubleshooting issues. My desktop was working completely fine for me until the last week. I have been getting a weird stutter (see video). I move the cursor around my and it will occasionally freeze the entire system for a millisecond and then go back to normal. This occurs even on the desktop. At first I thought it was my mouse, but after testing a second mouse it still seems to be happening. I updated my drivers and restarted my computer to no avail. I then checked the system performance in task manager and noticed that my memory was running at 87% but all of the programs open were using no more than 1GB total. Any ideas as to what I should do to resolve this problem? This computer is uses most for work (Adobe Suite, Rhino, AutoCAD, etc) with light gaming. System spec below:

GTX 1070

Intel Core i5-4760 @ 3.40 GHz

Asus B85-G motherboard

8GB GDDR3 RAM

Windows 10 64 Bit

I just checked using resmon, My highest app is illustrator at 770mb (I am currently working in it now). I added up a bunch of the top apps running 100mb or more and i still came out to 50% but it is claiming that I am using over 90% now. I just restarted about 1 hour ago. There is a lot of stuff running in the background and I just went in and disabled a few start up programs, and I think that I will restart and see where that gets me
