Gaming in Virtual Machine?

I just came across a malware bomb in the form of a Minecraft Mod but still want to try it out and see if it even works, and if it runs fine I may just play it in a VM

 

So how do I run a VM with full gpu access and at full native resolution?  I'm on Windows 10

 

Is this even possible?

If you want full gpu access you need gpu passthrough and you can't do that on windows to.

 

Have you tried something like virtual box? it should have enough gpu power to run minecraft to test.

I installed it and somehow it could tell that it was in a virtual environment and didn't hammer me with malware.

 

Also I have no CL to game on in virtualbox but that's ok, I'll look at the post's from @Windows7ge
