RAM - (4x4GB) / (2x8GB)

I currently have G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16GB, DDR4-3200 ---> (4x4GB) 

Plan adding +16GB more to my system, my qustion would be: 

 

Do i need to add (4x4GB) again or (2x8GB) will work aswell?  [Sorry if this question is cringe]

Both should work, read your motherboard's manual to find out what the best layout is for 6 sticks.
