New Headphones

zxcvbnmmssdh

I am looking for a ≤$150 pair of headphones. No need for a mic. I had HD 280 Pro's but they started buzzing and started loosing sound quality. I was looking at the ATH-M50's. Are there any other options. I would like closed ear and boomy bass is not necessary.

CPU: i7-4770k CPU Cooler: NH-D14 RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb GPU: EVGA Superclocked 780 ti MOBO: ASUS Maximus VI Gene PSU: Corsair RM 850 Case: Bitfenix Prodigy M

ATH-M50 -> Internet's fetish. It's the best for the price.

But I personally use hd 558 ($127 @amazon), m50 is not very good for gaming.

Something like these would be lovely:

Beyerdynamic DT-990-Pro-250 Professional

$145.95

I like mine  ^_^

As long as you got the 250 OHM pro I'm PRETTY sure they would work fine...

Let's get someone else's experience ;)   @ShearMe

Are you sure that the problem is with your senn`s ? The only closed headphones I like at about 130-150 $ are the HD 380 PRO http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UE6I0G/ref=s9_psimh_gw_p23_d1_i7?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0RFQ9P9RJ0YRH9ZDC35A&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846

I have used different programs and different headphones on my PC and no problem. I also used the senn's on another computer and my phone and the same issue. I was also just disappointed with the sound quality

I heard its just some updated drivers

That's literally the opposite of what is said in the video.

Gets loud enough for some people, not loud enough for others.

I think going from 280s to M50's would be a downgrade actually. The Sennheisers are PROPER studio equipment, while the M50's seem colored and unbalanced in comparison, as far as I've heard.

The M50 is supposed to be a studio headphone as well.

The Sennheisers just do a better job.

I'll let you say that after you've actually worked in a studio, not that I necessarily think you're wrong.

Haven't worked in an actual studio, but it's stuff I've heard. as far as I've heard (and read) the M50's have slightly boosted bass, they aren't as neutral as the 280, which studio headphones are supposed to be. and we could call in other people to talk more of this, but probably not necessary.

I'm just nitpicking, honestly.
