Strange power supply (?) issues.

Hello, I'm a first time builder and I've been having a strange reoccurring issue. I have gotten my PC to boot several times, I've played games on it etc. Strangely, every so often my pc fails to boot. I have a asus tuf gaming x570 pro wifi motherboard, and sometimes, seemingly at random, It fails to boot and shows a white light on the motherboard (VGA light). I have also had it show a white and a green light (vga and boot). The only thing that I see that might connect them is it tends to happen when I try to put my power supply in the case. Strangely, even though I am putting it in the case, I never unplug any of the wires except the power cord. I have fixed it a few times and I'm not sure what I do differently each time. One time it was fixed after I pulled out some power cables and put them back in, but when it happened again and I tried that again it didnt work this time. I want to finish my build and all I have left is putting the psu in and closing the case, but now everytime I do it fails to post. I am completely lost on what's happening, does anyone have any ideas?

I have removed it several times yes. I remove it to troubleshoot and try to find the problem everytime it does this.

Have you checked if you are running the latest Bios? What are your system specs?

I have an evga rtx 3080Ti black edition which I updated to the latest driver while it was working. Ryzen 9 3900x, 32 GB ram, evga 750 W gold certified. I'm new to PC building and I'm not very knowledgable on stuff relating to bios updates. I'm not sure if I am or how to check if I have the latest bios.

Just to add some more context to this. When I start it up, all of my rgbs come on. CPU fan, gpu, motherboard, case fans, ram, everything. My gpu fans spin for a little bit and stop after a few seconds when I turn it on. I double checked all of the cords are connected. I reseated the gpu and ram. I have unplugged all of the psu plugs and plugged them back in multiple times. I even tried different vga cords to my gpu. My psu fan is running as well if that matters. Just to note, I had no issues when I was able to get my computer to boot. Except one time after messing up, I messed with it a bit and got it to come on (again not sure what I did), and my bios settings had reset. I'm not sure why this happened. Right now is the longest I havent been able to get it to boot up for. Just for the record I built it yesterday and I've been troubleshooting all day today and part of yesterday.

Your problems sound like they could be bios related, in order to get into your Bios you would spam the 'F2' and 'Delete' keys on start up. You should spend some time watching videos on how to do so.

I know how to get into bios trust me, I have done it several times with this computer when I am able to boot it up. The issue is I cant boot it up right now and I dont knoe why. I somewhat know how to update the bios but I'm not too knowledgeable on it but I do not how to open and mess with bios settings.

Have you tried clearing the cmos?
