I updated my laptops BIOS. After the BIOS updated it will no longer boot with the second SSD loaded in. I can't even access BIOS settings with it in the PCIE slot. Thought maybe it could be the PCIE slot, but windows cant even detect the SSD when plugged in externally. Furthermore, it crashes Windows when plugged in.

why was the bios updated , what issue were you solving

Sorry, I just edited my post but still have the same problem. Windows was not able to update due to getting a blank BsoD after restarting (not shutdown). Still had the same problem even after a fresh Windows Install and had all my drivers updated. I saw on my laptops page that it had a BIOS update to improve system stability, so I thought maybe that would have fixed it. Only now I ended up with a seemingly fried SSD that crashes Windows for some reason whenever I plug it in.

well then return to the previous bios and install as many updates as needed to make the machine useable

Apparently I cannot downgrade the BIOS (ez flash wont let me) and the methods I see online for downgrading only work with .cap files, which my BIOS files are not. I think ill just use the factory hard drive for now and buy a new SSD later rather than risk it
