Windows boot logo

I have been following a post about changing the windows boot logo on linus tech tips: 

 

I want to make my own custom boot logo, got my images into bootres.dll and stuff. But, I'm stuck at step 32 (In the 'If you want to add your image as Windows Boot Logo)

When I insert the command, it just stops at

I have left it open for an hour or so, only to come back with still the same screen

Back with windows 7 I used a program called windows 7 boot updater, I am not sure if its gonna work with W10 (it should) but you can give it a shot, Its free.

The video uses the same steps at the post I linked. I'm still stuck at the signer step which is at 11:38 in the video. The security prompt doesn't show up for me, maybe this is becuase of windows?

I changed boot logo few times, but it revert to standard every bigger update, so it's not worth to do it.

So far from what I been testing is that Microsoft either changed where the dll for bootres is when loading Windows or that they blocked it out after Version 1607. Been still seeing in my free time what to do but the old method of my post only goes up to 1607 i.e Windows 10 Anniversary.

I use HackBGRT to change mine on Win10. Though it does revert back to the oem one once in a blue moon, I just run it again quick and it's good again.
