Hey Everybody!

I'm hoping someone here can help me out in answering my question. I have a 2080 Super FE coming in today and wanted to see if my current PSU will be enough.

Current Build:

i7 8700k ( Not over clocked)

MSI z370 Gaming Pro carbon

32gb Corsair Vengeance rgb

980 TI (Will be a 2080 Super now

500gb Nvme SSD, 1TB HDD

3 Corsair LL120 RGB Fans with controller etc etc

And a 650W Power supply

Would this be enough to handle all this?

You don't think it would be relevant to include which PSU you have...?

Nah. Any 650W PSU will do, it's global conspiracy of PSU manufacturers than you need quality PSU. /s

OP, what's your PSU model ? Not it's wattage.

Tag or quote me so i see your reply

Maybe 750watts?

he can run it on a good 550w, also the numbers you are working off are wildly off. dont know where you got them from.

depends enterily on the specific PSU.

some models might trip protections. others might damage the system over time. in other words it depends entirely on the specific PSU model.

What. Good 550w will be enough. Even 450w will run that system.

What 650w psu you have?

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
