So doom eternal came out and my pc is definetly good enough to run it, but when i run performance metrics on the game my cpu is clearly bottlenecking my performance. The problem is that my cpu usage never goes above 50%. Is this an optimization problem or is there something i can do to force my cpu to be used properly.

The reccomended requirements for the game are an i7-6700k and a gtx 1060 so i shouldnt have any problems. Furthermore, when i lower my settings i barely get a framerate difference.

any help is greatly appreciated7879011D-CF32-4743-9FBB-914A2FCB9474.thumb.jpeg.5cb656d93f446598cb6fb9ff379d50ba.jpeg

by the way my cpu is watercooled so it cant be a heating issue

maybe it's just a poorly optimised game. it just came out. wait for an nvidia driver update

You'd think, but

A GTX 1060 can apparently pull off an average of 60 fps on 1080p max.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
