PSU Update

Xsaren

Hey there :)

I think its finally time to replace my XFX ProSeries Core 550W After like 7 Years.

Need an advice which PS would be better to get into my setup and future builds. I Thought about >550W units, because its for years, and i think it would be even better to not load it too much.

I come from Poland where we have PLN as currency.
Some local shops :

www.morele.net
www.x-kom.pl

From previous talk in PSU Tierlist, it temporarily stopped on BitFenix Whisper M 650W (95$ in my country)

My current spec :

-9600K  (Cooled with Thermaltake floee riing 360)
-Asrock z390 Extreme 4
-Corsair 3000Mhz CL15
-Zotac AMP Extreme 1070
-AIM SC808 Soundcard
-SSD m.2 , SSD Sata, SATA HDD
-2 Thermaltake fan controllers ARGB
-6x  120mm fans Floe riing ARGB 120

Will perform OC on the parts, and i'll upgrade this in future. (maybe i9 with 2070S+ )

Thanks for the help :)

The Whisper 650W is a very solid option, I'd also consider the RM650x from Corsair or the Straight Power 11 650W from be quiet.

Pure Power 11 600 would be more than enough for your needs.
RM650x
Bitfenix Whisper/Formula

Supremo FM2 goes for 350 PLN, same as Cougar GX-F. Both very good options, but yeah, Bitfenix Whisper 650W for a little bit more would be just as good.

Another quick question.

On my MoBo i have 8+4 EPS power slot, so far i know its for getting more power, while not much needed on OC my 9600k, it could be if ill upgrade for like 9900k.

Can't find if whisper have soemthing more than 4+4 EPS cable.

You won't need the extra 4 pin when overclocking the 9900K. It's there for marketing/aesthetics
