What PSU wattage should I buy?

DVAShun

I am thinking of buying a 1070TI to complete my setup. All I have is a 1TB HDD HItachi Ultrastar. I need a PSU right now.

Here is the setup

I dont have a monitor yet but I am buying one soon. Most likely will be a 144 HZ Monitor but if I am taking my savings to heart, it will be a regular one. What should I get for a PSU wattage?

A decent 400-550W PSU should be fine. Just make sure to get an actually decent one

If I buy a 600W one, will it not turn on? I will buy a 400-550W one right now and make sure its a corsair but I just want to know for future reference. Will my machine not turn on or will it explode for excess wattage?

You can't have too much W; the PSU will only draw as much power as it needs for your device. The only way it will not turn on is if you have too little W.

Don't buy by brand. As I said, get a decent PSU.

You'll be fine with a decent 500w power supply
