Swapping CPU’s

So I my new Ryzen 2600 should come in tomorrow to replace my 2400g which is sadly bottlenecking my gtx 1070 so I bought a 2600.  Anyway can I simply just take out the 2400g and put in the 2600 and my pc will just instantly run back to normal 

 

personally never done a swap before so is there some sort of updates I need to install or something for the cpu and will gpu divers need to be reinstalled I have no clue.

yes, second gen to second gen requires no BIOS update.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

The 2400G is still 14nm, so it might.

the BIOS updates are release date only, a second gen CPU is a second gen CPU. you'll notice that all vendors list BIOS version compatibility by generation and not topography.

 

we also never got the motherboard that OP is using, if it's B450 and up, it's compatible by default.

It’s actually a b350 what I have a b350 asrock k4 fatality

that motherboard does not have different BIOS versions for the 2400G and 2600

There wouldn't be a need to update the BIOS. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
