It has come to my attention that Cheat Engine creates a temp file with every scanned address in it. I would very much like to disable it because, you see, it created a 241GB temp file when I accidentally selected the Not option(It scanned everything, basically). If anyone knows how I might prevent Cheat Engine from doing this again, that would be very helpful.

Its been quite a while since I used Cheat engine, The cobra howdoyouturnthison in Age of empire wasn't enough lol.

Anyways, (hope you're not trying to cheat in a game lol) I just installed it and checked for what you're saying, and it seems like its tracking down and saving the state of the memory addresses you scan for and add to the list. I don't know what game or program you're tracking that its dumping gigs, but it should delete them the moment you start a new scan,  when you close it up or start a new session, so if its not doing so its then there is something wrong probably, you might wanna try reinstalling it, and clear the settings while doing so.

I checked the settings I didn't find anything related, its just how it works I guess, it dumps whatever you're tracking to the hard drive (%temp%) folder. You can delete them manually and you should be fine, if there is specific values you wanna keep then you should save them elsewhere.
